About Us

Mark Cohen founded Pinnacle Financial Services, LLC in 2001 shortly after the sale of his family owned wholesale building materials company, C&S Distributors. During his 30 years with C&S Mark worked his way from truck driver to sales manager to president. His background working with builders and remodelers, experience in credit underwriting and focus on customer service helped Pinnacle thrive.

Mark’s son Ian joined Pinnacle in 2005. Ian brought a solid background in remodeling and real estate investing. Prior to working with his father Ian learned the business hands-on by completing his own single family renovation projects while working in the remodeling business full-time.

In combining their extensive knowledge and common sense approach to lending Pinnacle has quickly become Connecticut’s preferred private lender for rehab loans. Together they have built a strong foundation of active real estate investors by conducting their business with the highest standard of integrity.
